The Philadelphia 76ers get set to open up the 2022-23 season on Tuesday against the Boston Celtics on the road. That means they have a few days to get the roster all set before opening night at TD Garden.
The Sixers have been making a flurry of moves recently to set everything up for the Delaware Blue Coats and on early Sunday morning, they made another move in order to look ahead to the future.
The team will convert undrafted rookie Michael Foster Jr. to a two-way contract and they will waive Charlie Brown Jr. in the process. Brown Jr. held one of the team’s two-way contracts while Foster Jr. was on an exhibit 10 deal after spending the 2021-22 season with G League Ignite.
The 76ers are converting forward Michael Foster to a two-way contract, sources tell ESPN. Foster is an undrafted rookie out of the G League Ignite. Philadelphia will waive Charlie Brown.

Foster Jr. averaged 14.8 points and 8.8 rebounds with G League Ignite and he obviously showed enough in the summer league and the preseason to earn a two-way spot with Philadelphia.
