The lottery for the 2022 NBA draft was decided on Tuesday with the Orlando Magic winning to earn the No. 1 pick in the draft which is scheduled to take place on June 23 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
At the moment, the Philadelphia 76ers do not own their draft pick. They traded it away to the Brooklyn Nets in the deal to acquire James Harden. However, there is still a chance the Sixers can have a pick in this upcoming draft.
It will all depend on the Nets. The Sixers sent an unprotected 2022 first-round pick to the Nets as part of the deal, but Brooklyn does have the option of delaying that pick until 2023. They will have until June 1 to make that decision.
It is confirmed. And Brooklyn has to decide by June 1st, per a source. Feel the excitement! https://t.co/CbHvfWlCXq

The pick that would be relayed to the Nets is slated for No. 23 in Round 1 of the draft. There are some players that can make a difference there for the Sixers such as Wendell Moore Jr. out of Duke, Jaden Hardy from G League Ignite, and Christian Braun from Kansas.
The Sixers need some help on the wings so if the Nets delay the pick until 2023, there are a wealth of wings in this draft that can help the Sixers.
