Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid finished the 2022-23 regular season on a tear. The big fella couldn’t be stopped following the All-Star break. He threw the team on his back in plenty of moments to get the job done on the floor.
Over his final 22 games of the season, Embiid averaged a robust 33.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists. Philadelphia went 15-7 in those games, and he guided the Sixers to the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference for the playoffs.
For that production, Embiid was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for games played in March and April. This is the third time Embiid has won the award this season and it’s the seventh time he has won the award in his career.
