Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid took a hard fall in the third quarter when he was flagrantly fouled by Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Embiid was pushed mid-air by James and he fell hard on his troublesome back in what the big fella called “a dangerous play”.
As the Sixers get set to hit the road on Friday for a 3-game trip starting with the Minnesota Timberwolves, they might not have Embid’s services for that game.
The star big man is listed as questionable with back tightness and it is the reason why he missed the team’s game on Monday with the Detroit Pistons. If he can’t go, the team will need improved play out of Dwight Howard in his place.

The Sixers are 0-4 when Embiid doesn’t play so that is something to keep an eye on if he can’t go on Friday. It will up to Howard to provide good production and more pressure will be on Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons to give more scoring.
