In basketball, only five men can be on the floor at all times. The Philadelphia 76ers appeared to forget that rule in the first quarter on Friday night in a matchup with the Chicago Bulls.
Out of a timeout, the Sixers had a play to get Furkan Korkmaz an open triple to give the Sixers a 22-18 lead, but Bulls big man Luke Kornet was jumping up and down and adamant that Philadelphia had too many men on the floor and that’s why Korkmaz was so open. Apparently, he was right.
It appeared that Kyle O’Quinn was supposed to enter the game for Tobias Harris and he was working the baseline. He scampered off when he saw Harris on the floor and at the end of the video, Harris was scampering to the bench before anybody noticed.
Fake news Philadephia thought they could pull a fast one playing 6 on 5! Sad! pic.twitter.com/8n1hGz0FLp

The play ended up costing the Sixers four points as the 3-ball was wiped off the board and the Bulls hit the technical foul shot. It’s something to keep in mind if the game is close late in the fourth. [lawrence-related id=23688,23674,23662]
