The Philadelphia 76ers continue to make changes up and down the organization as they prepare for the 2020-21 season. After bringing in Doc Rivers to be the new coach and Daryl Morey to be the new President of Basketball Operations, they made big changes to their front office as well as the coaching staff.
They have added big assistants such as Dave Joerger and Sam Cassell as well as bringing in a respected assistant like Dan Burke. On Saturday, they will add another big name to the staff in Popeye Jones.
Jone has been an assistant coach in the league for 14 seasons including the last seven with the Indiana Pacers. This came after 11 seasons playing in the league and now he brings that experience to Philadelphia.

Rivers has put together a star-studded coaching staff as he gets set for his first season coaching stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. He will not be alone with this challenge and the team is set up for success following a tough season. [lawrence-related id=38912,38909,38900]
