With the 2021-22 season schedule out and teams looking at what the season could bring, we take one last look at the 2020-21 season and some of the top moments for the Philadelphia 76ers.
For this edition, we take it back to Game 5 of their first-round playoff series with the Washington Wizards. With the Sixers leading the series 3-1, they had to take care of business at home to move on.
With the team missing Joel Embiid due to a small lateral meniscus tear, the Sixers needed somebody to step up and produce in his place.
Seth Curry responded, dropping a career playoff-high 30 points on 10-for-17 shooting. He knocked down three 3s and was 7-for-7 from the line.
Curry proved a very good addition to Philadelphia’s roster, which was in need of his elite shooting. He shot 45% from deep in the regular season and 50.6% in the playoffs. He will need to shoot something similar in the 2021-22 season.
