Six Iowa football home games are officially sellouts for 2024 season

Kinnick is going to be rocking. Six Iowa home games are officially sellouts for the 2024 college football season.

Six games on the Iowa Hawkeyes’ 2024 football schedule are officially sellouts.

After the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series showdown against Iowa State on Saturday, Sept. 7 was announced as a sellout on Wednesday, five other games have followed suit on Thursday.

Iowa’s home contests against Illinois State on Saturday, Aug. 31, Troy on Saturday, Sept. 14, Northwestern on Saturday, Oct. 26, Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 2 and Nebraska on Friday, Nov. 29 are all sold out as well.

The University of Iowa announced on Thursday that less than 650 tickets remain for the Saturday, Oct. 12 contest against Washington as well.

It’s a great home slate for Iowa fans to enjoy. With the Cy-Hawk game returning to Kinnick, rivalry dates against both Wisconsin and Nebraska and West Coast arrival Washington all a part of the Hawkeyes’ 2024 slate, there’s plenty for fans to be excited about.

Iowa will make road trips to Minnesota on Saturday, Sept. 21, to Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 5, to Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 19, to UCLA on Friday, Nov. 8 and to Maryland on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Iowa also recently announced its annual Kids’ Day at Kinnick is slated for Saturday, Aug. 10. A time has not been released for that event.

It gives the public its first glimpse of the Hawkeyes with an open practice. One of the highlights historically has been the Kids Captains joining Hawkeye players on the field for photos following an exclusive inside look at Kinnick Stadium.

All of the other younger fans will have opportunities to meet the players and get autographs following the open practice as well. It’s a great chance for kids to get to meet their favorite players and Hawkeye stars face-to-face before the 2024 season kicks off.

Last year the event was free admission for all fans with cashless concession stands open.
