November 4 vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 127-118 Win
When Lillard and the Trail Blazers made their trip to San Francisco, the Warriors’ season was up in the air. Only a few days prior, Golden State’s two-time Most Valuable Player was ruled out for the next couple of months due to a broken hand.
The Warriors had lost five of their first six games and were getting desperate. Against the Blazers, Golden State’s second-round pick arrived on the NBA’s stage. The rookie broke out for 34 points on 11-of-19 shooting with 13 rebounds to carry the Warriors to their first win in Chase Center history.
