Six games from the 2019-20 season to rewatch during the NBA hiatus

With NBA League Pass free while the league is on hold, Warriors Wire is looking back into the 2019-20 season for the most rewatchable games.

November 15 vs. Boston Celtics, 105-100 Loss

Five different members of the Warriors scored in double digits. However, it wasn’t enough to hold off the red hot Boston Celtics in the final minutes.

December 11 vs. New York Knicks, 124-122 OT Loss

The Warriors mounted a furious comeback in the second half to push the New York Knicks into overtime. D’Angelo Russell and Alec Burks combined for 50 points — yet Marcus Morris was better. The Kansas product iced Golden State’s comeback with 36 points for New York.

December 31 at San Antonio Spurs, 114-113 OT Loss

The Warriors and Spurs paused everyone’s New Year’s Eve plans with an overtime battle in San Antonio. A tight-game throughout with a near triple-double from Draymond Green made for an exciting finish. Golden State went cold in the final period while Dejounte Murray tallied seven points to seal the Spurs victory.

January 20 at Portland Trail Blazers, 129-124 OT Loss

Whenever Damian Lillard laces up against the Golden State Warriors — there’s bound to be fireworks. Lillard rewrote the history books with a stellar 61 points on 17-of-37 shooting. Russell and Burks combined for 60 of their own to push the game into overtime.
