Eubanks on the fight’s key moment
“I felt good tonight. I felt like I could spend my cardio, my striking, my takedowns … I’ve grown really well. And the thing I want to pay attention to, most of my last couple of fights – going into the third, they were close. I knew going into the third I was ahead of this one for sure, but I didn’t want to coast because I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the cards, too.”
Eubanks on keeping up the high pace late
“When you are down two rounds, you’ve got to kill, so the last thing I wanted to do was slack off in the third. I actually wanted to push it so some. I knew in the third, let’s crank it up – let’s keep cranking. I knew if I kept touching her, I was either going to get the decision or I was going to finish her.”
Eubanks on what she wants next
“I just want to string a couple together. The last two I lost before tonight were tough, and it’s the gaps. I think if I had less time, I could start to turn my momentum around. So I really hope that I get another fight soon. That’s what I want. I don’t want to lose my momentum. … I just want to fight again – soon. I don’t care. The rankings and stuff, right now I don’t care. I just want to fight.”
