Should we be worried about the Boston Celtics’ lack of consistency?

The game was marked by poor shooting by both teams, but especially Boston from behind the 3-point line on a night that saw that shot represent more than half (47 of 91) of all shot attempts.

The Boston Celtics suffered a disappointing road loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, underscoring their ongoing struggle with offensive consistency over the team’s last few contests.

The game was marked by poor shooting by both teams, but especially Boston from behind the 3-point line on a night that saw that shot represent more than half (47 of 91) of all shot attempts. Also, a lack of off-ball movement and turnovers on the Celtics’ side did not help things much. The 76ers capitalized on offensive rebounds and took advantage of the Celtics’ inability to capitalize on their scoring opportunities. Despite a late push in the fourth quarter, the Celtics fell short, losing 106-103.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast recently took a look at them; check out the clip above for their conclusions.
