Should the San Antonio Spurs take University of Colorado small forward Cody Williams in the 2024 NBA draft? A 6-foot-8 swingman with a 7-foot-1 wing span, Williams is 19 years old and weighs in at a slight 180 lbs.

A lethal shot from beyond the arc with impressive physical gifts, the Arizona native is still fairly raw elsewhere in his play, which is not all that unusual at his age. His rebounding in particular stands out as an area he could make strides in with some help, and could have a high ceiling if the rest of his game comes together.

The host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, recently took some time to sit down with guest Jack Thompson, formerly with San Antonio Sports Star, to break down his potential with the Spurs as a potential fit for their No. 8 overall pick of the ’24 draft.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
