Should rookie San Antonio Spurs combo guard Stephon Castle start on opening night? After putting forth a very strong showing in the NBA’s 2024 Las Vegas and California Classic Summer Leagues, the University of Connecticut alum has shown that he should be able to hang at the NBA level.
But will that translate to the goals that the Spurs’ front office likely has in mind after loading up on veteran talent to push the team to more wins by the end of the NBA’s 2024-25 season? Or is Castle the perfect option for San Antonio to start at the one or the two on opening night?
