Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani absolutely crushed a baseball for a stunning home run during Tuesday night’s MLB 2024 All-Star Game.
Arguably the best baseball hitter in the world, Ohtani destroyed the ball off a pitch from Boston Red Sox ace Tanner Houck into the stands at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, to the roar of the fans in attendance.
The homer run gave the National League team a 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning, too.
Ohtani was delighted to be able to make such a major play during this year’s All-Star Game, as he was the first Dodgers player to hit a homer in the game since Mike Piazza in 1996. This really was a stunner.

1) @MLB has the best All-Star game of any sport. That’s because baseball is a fundamentally better sport. It’s hard to make the game ugly.
2) The players on the field tonight make me feel really good about the future of baseball. https://t.co/VKmGzrtCB0
