Sheldon Creed’s best ride options for the 2024 NASCAR season

Sheldon Creed has left Richard Childress Racing and needs to find a ride for 2024. Find out Creed’s best seat options for next year!

[autotag]Sheldon Creed[/autotag] announced last week that he will not return to the No. 2 car for Richard Childress Racing during the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The organization said it would announce its plans for the No. 2 entry in the near future while Creed said the same for his plans. So, where could the current Richard Childress Racing driver end up in 2024?

Joe Gibbs Racing’s program in the Xfinity Series is Creed’s best and most realistic choice. The organization needs to completely overhaul its lineup with John Hunter Nemechek signing with Legacy Motor Club and Sammy Smith joining JR Motorsports. Overall, Creed would become a consistent winner with Joe Gibbs Racing if this was the move.

If not the top Toyota team, Kaulig Racing’s program in the Xfinity Series wouldn’t be a bad option as well. As of now, A.J. Allmendinger is expected to rejoin the program; however, Chandler Smith may leave for Joe Gibbs Racing. If so, Creed could become the third driver at Kaulig Racing or Smith’s teammate either way at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Finally, Jordan Anderson Racing wouldn’t be a bad alternative if Joe Gibbs Racing and Kaulig Racing don’t work out. Creed could drive one of the organization’s two entries and work to elevate the program in the Xfinity Series. While Jordan Anderson Racing wouldn’t have the same tier of equipment, it would be a solid option for Creed.

The current driver of the No. 2 car has plenty of good options on the surface. As stated above, the most realistic seems to be Joe Gibbs Racing and he couldn’t go wrong with such a move. It will be interesting to see where Creed ends up for the 2024 NASCAR season as one team will be receiving a driver that is very hungry for a victory.
