Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have been the talk of the town since the Colorado Buffaloes won the first game of the Deion Sanders era with a road win at TCU.
Shedeur Sanders broke plenty of records and Hunter dazzled on both sides of the ball as the two-way star threw his name firmly into the Heisman Trophy race. As a result, their NIL valuations have skyrocketed in recent days, per Pete Nakos of On3.
Here’s what Nakos wrote on Colorado’s QB:
The on-field performances resulted in major NIL returns. Shedeur Sanders saw his On3 NIL Valuation jump up $2.5 million to $3.5 million. It is now the highest-ranked valuation in college football, edging out Texas quarterback Arch Manning at $2.9 million. The quarterback has more than 1.5 million followers on social media.
Sanders has now surpassed Arch Manning for the top spot, and Hunter’s valuation also increased. “He now has 1.5 million followers and a $1.8 million On3 NIL Valuation, which is a $362,000 increase from last week. The valuation is No. 4 in college football,” Nakos wrote.
This is all due to Colorado’s statement win over TCU. Ticket prices for the home opener against Nebraska have also shot through the roof. Everybody is itching to see this team.
