When the Colorado Buffaloes stormed out of the gate to begin the 2023 season, seeing Shedeur Sanders flash his watch to opposing fans and players became common. Now, college football fans can replicate that in the digital world.
On Monday, EA Sports unveiled gameplay for its upcoming release of College Football 25, including a long list of custom celebrations gamers can activate after big plays. Among iconic celebrations such as the Heisman pose, pointing to the crowd or putting them to sleep was a line for “Salute or Show the Ice (Colorado Only).”
The Buffs appear to be the only team with a custom celebration in the game, a fact that’s sure to rile other fanbases up. I don’t doubt that gamers who play as Colorado will spam this celebration.
