Multiple outlets, including Athlon Sports, are reporting that Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be a counselor at the 2023 Manning Passing Academy later this month.
The Manning Passing Academy is dedicated to helping high school-age and younger QBs learn the finer points of playing the position while gaining some life lessons as well. The quartet of Archie, Eli, Cooper and Peyton Manning have been running the camp since 1996.
Along with the Mannings, a group of college QBs are invited to help teach the young signal callers and Sanders got the call this year. Other notable college QBs helping counsel include Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers of Texas, Michael Penix Jr. of Washington, Jayden de Laura of Arizona and Drew Pyne of Arizona State.
Sanders has certainly been busy during this “offseason.” He recently paid a visit to the Gatorade Sports Science Institute and is in the midst of Colorado’s summer conditioning program.
