Shaq hilariously caught Nikola Jokic off guard by speaking Serbian on ‘Inside the NBA’

Shaq really needs to work on his Serbian.

Shaq has been trying his hand at different languages on Inside the NBA lately.

First, he spoke Slovenian to Luka Doncic after a Mavericks win and hilariously failed at telling him goodbye. Now, he’s speaking Serbian to Nikola Jokic after a Nuggets win and his skills sound equally as terrible.

In the Inside the NBA crew’s postgame interview with Jokic, Shaq started off his question by saying…something in Serbian? No idea what it was. All we know is that it even confused Jokic who is actually Serbian.

Just look at his face here. It’s absolutely hilarious. He has no idea what’s going on.

He’s just so confused.

Ernie Johnson captured the moment perfectly. “There’s nothing wrong with your headset,” he told Jokic.

Shaq is telling him “sijajna igra brate,” which, according to a quick Google translate search, means “great game, bro.”

Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. I’m not sure what Shaq was trying to say the first time, but whatever it was it was not very good.

After Shaq repeated it, Jokic seemed to understand him.

“Shaq, ah, thank you, man. Hvala. Hvala.”

Another good effort from Shaq here. This was a bit worse than the Slovenian, but at least he’s trying, right?
