Shannon Sharpe returned to FS1’s Undisputed on Wednesday after missing Tuesday’s show, with the world speculating as to the Hall of Famer’s absence.
Was it due to a protest over Skip Bayless’s awful tweet after Damar Hamlin collapsed on Monday night? That’s what viewers wondered, and on Wednesday, they got an answer from Sharpe himself.
That is, until Bayless rudely interrupted him.
Sharpe spoke about how Hamlin’s collapse struck him after he watched his brother, ex-NFL receiver Sterling Sharpe, become temporarily paralyzed on the field once.
Sharpe then said he disagreed with Bayless’s tweet and hoped he’d delete it. Bayless jumped in and said he stood by what he tweeted.
A clearly miffed Sharpe said, “You can’t even let me finish my opening monologue without you interrupting” before the two went back and forth and Sharpe cut it off:

Seems very clear that Sharpe, like countless others, had a problem with Bayless’s tweet, which is still up:
No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.
