Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vows revenge for LeBron block in All-Star game

After LeBron James blocked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s dunk attempt in the NBA All-Star Game, the Thunder star said he’ll get back at James.

Many basketball fans didn’t enjoy Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game, mainly because of the utter lack of defense.

In fact, Michael Malone, the head coach of the Denver Nuggets who was in charge of LeBron James’s squad, even called it “the worst basketball game ever played.”

However, there was one play where James made a great effort to move his feet and make a defensive play. It came when he blocked a dunk attempt by Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous Alexander, who was making his first appearance in the midseason classic.

It came at a cost for James, as he appeared to injure his hand on the play.

Afterward, the Thunder star seemed like he wanted to get back at James at his earliest convenience.

“He wasn’t playing no defense. Then the one time I tried to get a dunk, he wanna play defense. I got something for that next time though.”

The Lakers will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 1, so keep your eyes on that matchup to see if Gilgeous-Alexander will indeed have something to serve up for the four-time MVP.
