The Oklahoma City Thunder will be represented for the 2023 All-Star game as the NBA announced Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s inclusion on Thursday.
Gilgeous-Alexander made his first career All-Star game as a reserve.
Considering how big a jump Gilgeous-Alexander has made this season, this shouldn’t be shocking to anybody who’s mildly paid attention to the Thunder.
The 24-year-old is averaging 30.8 points on 50.5% shooting, 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds and has been the face of the overachieving young Thunder, who are 24-27 and 1.5 games out of 10th place in the Western Conference.
The Thunder will be well represented during All-Star weekend. Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams both were named onto the Rising Stars roster.
