PHILADELPHIA–The Philadelphia 76ers had a tough night on Thursday as they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-114 at home. The Sixers had a tough time on the defensive end out on the perimeter and it cost them in the loss.
Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made it look easy by going for 37 points on 10-for-16 shooting while pulling down eight rebounds with six assists in the win. Philadelphia struggled on the perimeter and SGA took advantage of it.
For the Sixers, Joel Embiid had 30 points and 10 rebounds despite battling through foul trouble and seeing waves of defenders from the Thunder. Afterward, Gilgeous-Alexander gave his respect to both Embiid and coach Doc Rivers who was his first coach while with the Los Angeles Clippers.
