On Friday, the University of Kentucky had its Pro Day for NFL prospects. Nearly every NFL team had representation on hand to watch multiple Wildcats players complete workouts and on-field drills.
Kentucky’s top prospects all completed the bench press. Running back Ray Davis completed 21 reps, while linebacker Trevin Wallace and cornerback Andru Phillips did 20 and 16 respectively. They also participated in drills led by coaches.
Receiver Tayvion Robinson ran his 40 4.64 seconds, and he recorded a 32 inch vertical jump. Running back Ramon Jefferson had an impressive showing, with a 40.5 inch vertical, and 10’7″ broad jump, and 18 reps in the bench press. Tight end Brendan Bates was also solid, with a 10’2″ broad jump and 21 bench press reps.
Offensive lineman Kenneth Horsey and fullback Justice Dingle also worked out.
Quarterback Devin Leary threw the ball for NFL teams, and is said to have had a good day. Kentucky coach Mark Stoops believes Leary helped his draft stock.
The NFL Draft is April 25 through the 27th in Detroit. Multiple Wildcats hope to be selected.
