The NFL Network is putting out its All-Time team in honor their 100th season in 2019. So far, the NFL Network has announced the running backs, linebackers and defensive lineman. The Steelers were shut out among the running backs but are scoring well on the defensive side of the football.
Defensive tackle Joe Greene joins linebacker Jack Ham and Jack Lambert as some of the greatest at their respective positions of all time. They also named former Steelers head coach Chuck Noll as of the coaches of the team.
Greene was drafted No. 4 overall by the Steelers in 1969. His addition was the catalyst for what turned into one of the greatest sports dynasties of all time. Greene spent all 13 of his NFL seasons with the Steelers. Greene, along with Ham, Lambert and Noll won four Super Bowls in the 1970s with Pittsburgh.
The NFL Network will continue to announce position groups and we expect to see more Steelers from those great 70s teams to make the list.
