Seven potential defensive coordinator candidates for Michigan football

Who could #Michigan turn to now that it’s looking for its second DC in as many years?

With now-former Michigan defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald having been officially announced by the Baltimore Ravens as taking the same post in the NFL, the Wolverines are now on the hunt for the leader of that side of the ball for the second time in as many years.

The maize and blue certainly would benefit from sticking with the same defensive scheme that Macdonald installed last year, but with so many new starters and all but one assistant on that side of the ball returning, there’s already a fair share of continuity.

These are not official candidates for the new Michigan defensive coordinator opening, but ideas that we feel could work best for the Wolverines.
