Seth Lundy gets his official jersey number with Atlanta Hawks

Now teammates with the Atlanta Hawks, former Michigan and Penn State player reflect on their Big Ten battles

Former Penn State guard [autotag]Seth Lundy[/autotag] is already making himself at home with his new team, the Atlanta Hawks. But with a new team and a new career comes a new uniform number for Lundy.

The Hawks introduced their NBA draft picks on Monday, including Lundy, and had their newest additions pose with their new uniforms and jersey numbers. Lundy held up his new no. 8 jersey alongside his new teammates Kobe Bufkin and Mouhamed Gueye.

And then, after a quick wardrobe change, Lundy and his fellow rookies suited up in their uniform for the first time.

Lundy and Bufkin, a former Michigan player and Atlanta’s first-round draft pick, reflected on playing against each other as Big Ten foes during a press conference with the media as well. Both were complimentary of the other and noted each was a staple on the scouting reports every time they played. Bufkin noted things were not so pretty when his Michigan teams had to come to Penn State, but Lundy made sure to remind everyone the two teams split the season series.

We’ll see just how much the Big Ten prepared both of these players for the next level.
