In something that no one could have predicted two top 25 pre-season teams are both looking for their first SEC series win. Former No. 5 Texas A&M is currently on a four-game losing streak and 1-5 in SEC play. As bad as that is, defending National Champion Ole Miss is currently on a three-game losing streak and 0-6 in league play.
Now granted both teams have played top-tier opponents back-to-back weeks because the SEC is a stacked league. To further prove this point, as you can tell by the records, they are each looking for their first series win in the league play. The series between the two have been extremely close with Ole Miss having a one-game edge of 17-18. These next three games are going to come down to pride at this point and they both need a win in the worst way.
