Series Preview: Baseball – Texas A&M vs No. 13 Kentucky

Update: the first two games of the series will start on Saturday, April 22nd, with Game 1 slated for 1:00 pm., and Game 2 will start 45 minutes after

The Aggies will put their SEC series streak on the line this weekend when they face the No 13 Kentucky Wildcats (26-7, 10-5 SEC). Going into the series, Texas A&M (23-14, 7-8) has put together three straight series wins in SEC play while Kentucky has dropped their last two series against SEC competition. Plus, the Aggies have averaged 13 runs over their last three victories.

Texas A&M holds an 11-7 edge over Kentucky since they started playing back in 1989. In the last five games, they are 4-1 winning the last two series. Depending on how the Aggie pitching shakes out I’d expect a dogfight between these two teams as one is trying to maintain its momentum while the other is trying to get back on track.
