Series Preview: Baseball – Texas A&M vs Auburn

Texas A&M and Auburn will start a three-game series at Plainsman Park in Alabama

The Aggies will travel to Alabama to take on the Auburn Tigers for their fourth SEC series this season. Texas A&M (18-11) and Auburn (18-10-1) essentially same the exact same overall record and mirror each other in league play at 3-6. The big difference is that Texas A&M is coming off their series win over the defending national champions, Ole Miss, and a midweek victory over Texas State. While Auburn is on a three-game losing streak dropping their last series to Florida and mid-week game against UAB.

Along with having very similar season records, the Aggies only hold a one-game edge in the series since 2013 at 15-14. However, Auburn has the recent edge over the last two years beating the Aggies in five of the last seven games. This is a major series for both teams as the Aggies will be looking to keep their momentum going while Auburn is hoping to right the ship.
