In their final game before the start of conference play, the Alabama Crimson Tide will host the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks. The Tide and Warhawks have met twice before with each side getting a win.
In Nick Saban’s first year with the Crimson Tide (2007), Alabama lost at home to Louisiana Monroe 21-14 in the biggest upset in Bryant-Denny Stadium history. Including this embarrassing loss, Alabama finished the 2007 season 7-6.
However, the two sides most recently met in 2015 when Alabama put on a 34-0 thrashing over the Warhawks.

UL Monroe enters the matchup at 1-1 while the Tide remains undefeated. Both sides have already faced the Texas Longhorns early in the 2022 campaign. Alabama survived with a 20-19 victory in Austin while the Warhawks got whooped 52-10.
