The Jacksonville Jaguars will be spending the week in Mobile, Ala. scouting the Senior Bowl while getting up close and personal with some prospects who have entered April’s draft. The event’s first practice was held on Tuesday and there was plenty of coverage on Day 1’s session all over the web.

When considering all of the Jags’ needs heading into the 2020 season, here are some players who stood out that the Jags could eventually target:

Van Jefferson, WR, Florida

With the University of Florida being in close proximity to Jacksonville, Van Jefferson is a player many Jags fans are aware of. He had a solid day according to those in attendance, showcasing his footwork and ability to get open.

At 6-foot-2, 190-pounds, Jefferson could be a target for the Jags if they don’t go with a receiver Day 1 or Day 2 and elect to address their issues in the trenches. Most have him projected as a Day 3 pick and with Marqise Lee likely being a cap casualty, landing a receiver in April’s draft may be on the table and Jefferson could be an option.
