I know we’ve mentioned receiver a lot this week, but the fact of the matter is the position was the most impressive in Mobile and the class is strong overall. Denzel Mims obviously didn’t want Van Jefferson and KJ Hill to steal the show entirely and had a strong series of days in Mobile, too. He had one of his most impressive grabs of the week Thursday, which was a one-hander in the back of the end zone.

Mims has also displayed great body control throughout his career. His cutting ability is something he’s also displayed over time, which will help him tremendously with separation in the NFL. At 6-foot-2, 208-pounds, Mims is a player the Jags could target outside of the top two rounds if they can’t go with a receiver Day 1 or early in Day 2.
