I don’t think looking at Tom Brady in a Buccaneers uniform will ever be quite right to NFL fan brains.
And the same now goes for Rob Gronkowski, who was dealt to the Bucs on Tuesday so he could join his fellow former New England Patriots teammate in Tampa.
Gronk, like Brady, was a Patriot for life — the Pats drafted him out of Arizona in 2010 with a second-round pick — up until the transaction that got him out of his brief retirement.
So when you see photos of both Brady and Gronkowski — who will get his old No. 87 to wear — in those new Bucs uniforms, it’s the weirdest.
