See where MSU lands in CBS Sports’ updated 2024-25 bowl projections

Will MSU return to a bowl game this year? See what Brad Crawford of CBS Sports thinks

In the eyes of CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford, Michigan State will not be bowling this holiday season.

Crawford produced a new batch of bowl projections this week and it appears the Spartans have been left off. Crawford elected to have Indiana in the Detroit Bowl as the lowest-rated bowling Big Ten team over the Spartans.

Michigan State last played in the postseason in 2021 in a Peach Bowl victory over Pitt. The Spartans have missed out on bowl games the last two years.
