UFC staged its third card in seven days on Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida, and the prelims delivered a few brilliant finishes and an absolute blood bath between Darren Elkins and Nate Landwehr.
Middleweight Kevin Holland scored a victory by TKO just 39 seconds into his first round against Anthony Hernandez. Holland staggered Hernandez with a vicious elbow, then knocked the wind out of his opponent with a quick knee to the midsection. Hernandez went down to the mat, and Holland pounced on him, hammering him with shots on the side of the head until the referee was forced to stop the fight.
HE ONLY NEEDED SECONDS! 😱

Holland joked after the win that Daniel Cormier wasn’t on the broadcast team to give him the “cheat code” advice during the bout. Last week, multiple fighters said they could hear Cormier’s feedback in the empty arena, and his advice helped them win.
Cheat code lmao. Congrats @Trailblaze2top https://t.co/FCARMVyyHL
