See Tony Bennett’s extravagant Super Bowl 29 Halftime Show performance with Patti LaBelle

This was quite a show.

The year was 1995.

The San Francisco 49ers were in the middle of dismantling the upstart San Diego Chargers at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami, with Steve Young well on his way to throwing six touchdown passes — three to Jerry Rice.

And at halftime, it was quite a show to take in.

Patti LaBelle, Arturo Sandoval, Miami Sound Machine and the late, great Tony Bennett performed in quite a spectacle of a show, including Bennett who showed up in a white suit and sang Duke Ellington’s classic Caravan.
