See the exciting trailer for Simone Biles’ new docuseries, ‘Simone vs Herself’

“Once I step onto the competition floor, I am competing against myself.”

No one on this planet can compete with Simone Biles.

Every time the 24-year-old gymnastics GOAT performs, she reminds the world she in a ridiculous league of her own, including last weekend when she won a record seventh U.S. Gymnastics title. And she could win five Olympic gold medals this summer at the Tokyo Games, which would be a record for an American woman in a single Olympics.

She’s constantly pushing herself and raising her level of competition — and the gravity-defying heights she performs at — while competing against herself. And that’s the premise for the new Facebook Watch Original series, Simone vs Herself.

The seven-part docuseries will offer an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at Biles’ life in the gym and away from it as she prepares for the previously postponed Tokyo Olympics. It’s directed by Gotham Chopra, who’s done similar projects with Tom Brady and Steph Curry.

Here’s a look at the newly released trailer for Simone vs Herself:

“Once I step onto the competition floor, I am competing against myself,” Biles says in the show. “Outside of the sport, you try to be, like, human.”

Produced by Religion of Sports, the first episode premieres June 15 on Facebook Watch, and the first five episodes will air leading into the Tokyo Games with the remaining two coming out later in the summer.

In a release about the docuseries, Biles said:

“My gymnastics career has been filled with a lot of ups and downs despite what a lot of people may think, and, in a lot of ways, my career has felt like I’ve been trying to prove myself to others. My mom has always encouraged me to be the ‘best Simone I can be’ and I now have a true appreciation for what that really means, which is one of the big reasons I wanted to come back for Tokyo. I want to challenge myself to be the best Simone I can be for me and, no matter the outcome, share with my fans the process and approach I am taking along the way in the hope that it may help inspire others to be the best version of themselves too.”
