Welcome to February in the midwest where you have finally gotten through January only to be met by a snowstorm that makes the natives question why we do this to ourselves each and every year.
I was lucky this morning and only had a couple of inches to shovel when I got up but I’m certainly not looking forward to the commute home. Speaking of commutes, I’m scared to search how long the drive time from Chicago to South Bend would be this afternoon.
Regardless, you could tell this storm was quite the doozy as the entire University of Notre Dame canceled classes for Wednesday. That at least didn’t prevent someone from the athletic departments social media team from getting a great shot of a snow-filled Notre Dame Stadium.
Nothing quite as spectacular as Snowtre Dame.#GoIrish pic.twitter.com/qRAGInMhK0

Now can Penn State just show up to make the scene even better? I mean, Jerome Bettis is already on campus…
Stay warm and stay safe.
