It’s been a rough year for nearly everyone in one way or another in 2020, and lots of us have experienced a setback in some way.
Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is no exception to that — he had to undergo reconstructive surgery on his left knee after he suffered a torn ACL, torn MCL, PCL and meniscus damage when he took a hit from Washington Football Team defender Jonathan Allen on Nov. 22.
The rehabilitation and recovery process that follows is daunting, but it seems that Burrow is handling it well and making strides as quickly as anyone could have hoped for.
He took to Twitter on Christmas, giving us a look at his progress. It’s pretty encouraging to see Burrow in the early stages of walking without assistance roughly a month after his injury.

“Good week for the Bengals,” he tweeted.
Joe Burrow is up and walking — a great thing to see after the major injury he suffered earlier this year. https://t.co/WAceyUthS1
