See it: Bengals WRs took a trip to Las Vegas

The Bengals WRs bonded during a bit of a break before getting back on the field.

Cincinnati Bengals players and coaches often cite the closeness and leadership of the locker room as one of the main driving points that made the Super Bowl run possible.

Bengals wideouts seemed to put an exclamation on that point recently by taking a trip to Las Vegas together.

That’s Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Stanley Morgan and Mike Thomas, to be exact, though it was the Vegas-savvy Boyd who led the way as a veteran presence.

“We don’t just want to be around each other just because we all play receiver,” Boyd said, according to ESPN’s Ben Baby. “At the end of the day, we look at each other like family. Bonding is the most important thing, because then you’ll get unselfish people around you. That’s always the beauty of it.”

The actual trip itself won’t shock fans given the presence of steakhouses and a Lil Baby concert.

But it’s this sort of willingness to bond in between official team workouts that is one of those little things that helps explain the franchise’s quick turnaround.

Regardless of extra offseason trips, this bunch was bound to put on a show again next season. But the little extra stuff like this sure doesn’t hurt the idea.
