Tennessee will play Arkansas Sunday in the Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game.
The Vols defeated Florida, 4-0, Saturday in the semifinals at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama.
Tennessee has recorded back-to-back shutouts prior to Sunday’s championship game. The Vols recorded two shutout wins during its SEC Tournament history prior to this week.
Tennessee will play in its first SEC Tournament championship game since 1995.
The Vols won three consecutive SEC Tournament championships from 1993-95 when the East and West divisions had separate tournaments.
First pitch for Sunday’s Tennessee-Arkansas championship game is slated for 3 p.m. EDT. ESPN2 will televise the contest.
