SEC standings after Georgia’s win at Texas, insane Week 8

Georgia football continues its rise up the SEC standings after earning a massive win over Texas in Week 8

The Georgia Bulldogs are on the rise in the SEC standings after earning an impressive 30-15 road win over the Texas Longhorns. Georgia running back Trevor Etienne scored three rushing touchdowns in UGA’s dominant win. The Bulldog defense forced four Texas turnovers and recorded seven sacks.

In Week 8, the Tennessee Volunteers earned a huge 24-17 home win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. Tennessee won a penalty-filled game behind a strong performance from the Volunteers’ defense, who held Alabama to a season-low 17 points.

LSU continued its undefeated start to the conference season with a big 34-10 win over Arkansas. LSU is slated to play Texas A&M next week in a battle of undefeated SEC teams (in conference play only).

The Texas A&M Aggies continue to be the top team in the SEC standings. The Aggies picked up a 34-24 win over Mississippi State. Vanderbilt beat Ball State 24-14 in a nonconference game.

Florida beat Kentucky 48-20 ahead of Florida’s bye week. South Carolina absolutely dominated Oklahoma in 35-9 road win.

Missouri came back from down 14 points without starting quarterback Brady Cook to defeat Auburn 21-17 and to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.
