SEC sets record for most teams selected to 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament

The SEC will be well represented once again in the NCAA Tournament.

Released on Monday afternoon, the SEC saw a total of 11 teams selected to play in the upcoming 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament, which was the most of any conference across the country.

The number of 11 is also the most teams from one conference to ever make a NCAA Tournament as well, with the SEC also sporting the top three overall seeds this year nationally in the Tennessee Volunteers, Kentucky Wildcats, and Texas A&M Aggies.

Those 11 teams, as well as respective seeds, are as follows, with each No. 1 seed also set to host a Regional:

Each of those 11 teams will now begin NCAA Tournament action this Friday, May 31 in the Regional round. This round will be double elimination, which means that a team has to lose twice to be eliminated.
