The Georgia Bulldogs have lost a commitment from four-star safety recruit Rashad Johnson. The four-star safety flipped his commitment from Georgia to Texas A&M.
Georgia has 21 commitments in the class of 2025 following Johnson’s decision. The Bulldogs have the third-ranked recruiting class in the SEC. Georgia still has a pair of safety commitments: four-star Jaylan Morgan and four-star Todd Robinson (who may also be a running back).
The Texas Longhorns have been surging in recruiting recently. Texas landed commitments from three five-star recruits over the past month or so. Most of the SEC has remained relatively stagnant on the recruiting trail since July.
The Alabama Crimson Tide continue to have the best recruiting class in the SEC in Year 1 of the Kalen DeBoer era. The SEC has eight of the top nine recruiting classes in the country. The SEC is easily the best recruiting conference in college football.
