Welcome to SEC football in 2022 (and just about every year for the past 20 or so).
In what is certain to be the first of many several such weeks, the conference power rankings had some adjusting to do in their middle portion after Week 4. That’s what happens when a league this good has so many good teams: parity.
That means a team like Texas A&M, which a couple weeks back fell to Appalachian State after starting at the third-ranked team in the power, fell close to No. 10 and remains outside the top five even after knocking of two ranked teams in a row.
