SEC podcast lists Auburn’s running game as a loser from this past weekend

What do you think about Auburn’s running game?

Auburn’s run game struggled against Georgia on Saturday.

The Tigers ran for a team total of 46 yards against the Bulldogs in their 34-10 loss at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Chris Gordy, the host of the “Locked On SEC” podcast, put together a list of his losers of the weekend on his Monday show. Auburn’s running game was the final installment on that list.

“Speaking of Auburn, I know they were taking on Georgia but I’m putting the Auburn run game in there,” Gordy said. “Georgia has the best defense in the country but Auburn could not do anything with their ground game. Tank Bigsby was held to just ten carries for only 28 yards. He did find the endzone but Jarquez Hunter and Shaun Shivers, they did not do much either. Bo Nix ran wild last week at LSU but he was held to 10 carries for a net loss of 16 yards. The lack of a running game just put Auburn behind the eight ball and they could just not get much going against that stout Georgia defense.”

The Auburn Tigers offense faces Arkansas on the road in Fayetteville this Saturday.
