Seahawks executive vice president/general manager John Schneider is staying in Seattle after all.
Rumors had recently swirled that the Detroit Lions would be making a push to lure Schneider away from the Emerald City.
On Tuesday, however, Seattle announced that the Seahawks have signed Schneider to a contract extension through the 2027 NFL draft.
Coach Pete Carroll also signed a contract extension earlier this year and will remain in Seattle through the 2025 season
