The Seattle Seahawks (9-7) will be on the road against the LA Rams (10-6) in the season finale Sunday afternoon. Kickoff for this Week 18 matchup is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX) from SoFi Stadium. The Seahawks were eliminated from playoff contention last week despite beating the Chicago Bears, 6-3. Therefore, they don’t have anything to play for on Sunday besides pride and possible incentive bonuses for players such as QB Geno Smith and WR DK Metcalf. Though they’ll end the season with a winning record, this will be their second straight year missing the playoffs.

The Rams clinched the NFC West and will host a playoff game next week as either the No. 3 or 4 seed. QB Matthew Stafford won’t play Sunday because coach Sean McVay has opted to rest his top players, giving QB Jimmy Garoppolo the start for LA. It’s Garoppolo’s first action in a game since last season when he was with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Seahawks 24, Rams 20

Moneyline

PASS on the moneyline. The Rams are resting their starters but the Seahawks also don’t have anything to play for this week, so they could take a cautious approach with anyone who’s even a little bit banged up leading into the game or injured during it.

It’s not worth betting either team to win outright in a game with minimal implications like this one.

Against the spread

The spread opened with the Rams being 2.5-point underdogs to start the week and the line shifted significantly Wednesday when McVay announced Stafford will sit this one out. Now at +6.5 (-105), it’s worth taking LA to cover.

Again, the Seahawks don’t have much motivation to win this game and the Rams are still led by a capable group on offense. Garoppolo has played in big games before, RB Blake Corum is a third-round rookie, and the Rams’ depth at wide receiver is quite good with Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell likely to fill in.

BET RAMS +6.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The O/U is a bit trickier because we don’t exactly know what we’re going to get from the Rams on either side of the ball. However, the Seahawks haven’t exactly been dominant on defense, and their offense should be able to move the ball against LA’s secondary, which is likely to be missing at least a couple of starters for rest.

PASS on the O/U, with a slight lean toward the Over.
